Where Has God Gone?
(Translated from Marathi)

I had heard in my childhood,
That God is in every grain,
God lives in every heart,
You can see Him in all creation,
He resides in every home.

But there were bomb blasts in Mumbai,
So many innocent people died.
There was an attack on America too,
Dead bodies were seen everywhere.

The Taliban destroyed the statues of Buddha,
America attacked Iraq and Afghanistan,
And lakhs of innocents lost their lives.

ISIS killed people across the world,
Evil forces crushed humanity,
In Pakistan, Hindus die every day,
Why don’t we see even a drop of help?

In Israel, Palestine, Iran, Russia, Ukraine—
So many innocents are dying there too.
Where are you, Creator of the world?
Where are you, the Father of our faith?

There are tsunamis,
Floods come,
Storms hit,
Riots happen too,
And in all this,
People suffer terribly.

Every day in this world,
So much pain must be happening,
Every day in this world,
So many lives must be crying.

Where are you then?
The one in every grain,
The one in every heart,
The one in all creation,
The one who lives in every home?

I am searching for Him...
If you find Him,
Please give Him this message from me—
Only then can the whole world
Sleep peacefully, without fear...
